At the same time, despite a structural trade balance deficit,exports are showing positive trends, driven by cured meats, but also by fresh beef. According to the analysis by Nomisma, Italy’s meat supply chains generated 13,8 billion euros in agricultural production in 2025, of which 8,8 only came from beef and pork.
