Migross: third opening in the Modena area with a new supermarket in Cavezzo

Migross has opened a new supermarket in Cavezzo (Mo), in Via Volturno, completing the integration process of the three Modena-area stores that recently joined its network.

Following the openings in Carpi and Camposanto in recent weeks, the one in Cavezzo represents a further step in the company's development in Emilia-Romagna.

“With the opening of the Cavezzo store, Migross's growth in Emilia-Romagna continues, as does our commitment to enhancing local shops through a modern offering, attentive service and a strong connection with the area,” says Marco Mion, Managing Director of Migross.

The store, previously operating under the Sigma banner, has been renovated according to the Migross format, with modern, functional spaces designed to offer a simple, convenient and affordable shopping experience.

Particular attention has been paid to the fresh food departments, a distinctive element of Migross's offering. The butchery, fruit and vegetable and delicatessen departments offer an assortment of selected products, local products and local specialities, with the aim of combining quality, value for money and service. The services available also include Amazon Locker, the acceptance of meal vouchers, and payments by electronic cards and Satispay.

The opening of the Cavezzo store forms part of the process initiated by Bruna Lami, owner of Moderna Distribuzione, a long-established food distribution business rooted in the Modena area, which is celebrating fifty years in business this year. The change to the Migross banner affects the three supermarkets in Carpi, Camposanto and Cavezzo, while keeping the operational management unchanged and retaining the entire workforce already present in the stores.
