Promotica supports Coop in the “Coop per la Scuola 2026” campaign, the retailer’s initiative supporting Italian schools.

How it works

Until 18 November 2026, for every 15 euro spent or when purchasing sponsor products, vouchers containing stamps valid for the Alessi collection and School Vouchers will be awarded for allocation to the selected school. School Vouchers can be handed directly to schools or uploaded via the “Coop per la Scuola” app by 11 January 2027. By accessing their reserved area on the dedicated website, schools can convert the vouchers collected into materials, equipment and tools useful for teaching activities until 18 January 2027.

The educational programme

Alongside the prize catalogue, Coop provides teachers with an innovative educational programme dedicated to the theme of Circular Health, a paradigm developed by Professor Ilaria Capua, an internationally renowned virologist and senior fellow of global health at Johns Hopkins University Sais Europe, who has been engaged for years in research and scientific communication on global health issues.

Circular Health represents an evolution of the concept of One Health, promoting a systemic view of health by linking it to the UN sustainability goals. It is an approach to the future that invites us to understand how individual and collective wellbeing depend on the balance between the four fundamental elements—water, air, earth and fire—which essentially depend on the choices we make every day.

As in previous editions, Saperecoop and Giunti will provide educational proposals, workshops and materials that can be downloaded free of charge from the official website, to accompany teachers and students on a journey of discovery, awareness and responsibility. The guides will be produced by Giunti Scuola in collaboration with Professor Ilaria Capua and the Geopop team, the editorial project of the Ciaopeople group, the most followed on the web, with a community of over 16 million.

For nursery schools

For nursery schools, an entirely offline play-based educational activity is planned, which until 11 January 2027 will enable teachers and children to approach the principles of Circular Health through play and discovery. The prizes provided for by the initiative are designed to recognise and encourage the participation of the different school age groups. For nursery schools, the 26 finalist classes will receive 1.500 School Vouchers to use when choosing prizes from the catalogue. In addition, all classes that complete the activity by 11 January 2027 will immediately receive 250 School Vouchers each.

For primary and secondary schools

For primary schools, lower secondary schools and upper secondary schools, a programme consisting of four themed missions is instead planned. Each mission provides access to in-depth content created by Geopop, Ilaria Capua and Giunti Scuola, accompanied by ideas for reflection that help students relate what they have learned to the reality of their local area. At the end of each mission, students will have to pass a test consisting of five multiple-choice questions: successfully completing the test will immediately earn 250 School Vouchers for the class.

Classes that successfully complete all four missions will finally gain access to the final draw, which includes prizes dedicated to and differentiated according to their school level.

The other initiatives

The support of Geopop and Professor Ilaria Capua was decisive in developing and disseminating the project. In addition to the in-depth content, they contributed to creating an interactive video game designed to engage young people and families, inspired by the concept of Circular Health, which takes shape within a Terrarium.

The project will be accompanied by a series of Geopop-branded content, inspired by the Terrarium metaphor and the theme of circularity, to explain the importance of interconnections between living beings and the four elements. All the content will appear on Geopop’s digital channels, including its website and YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok profiles.

The comments

Diego Toscani, CEO of Promotica, commented: “We are pleased to support Coop once again in a project that places the value of education and the role of schools in educating new generations at its centre. 'Coop per la Scuola' represents much more than a loyalty initiative: it is a tangible opportunity to support schools and, at the same time, promote innovative and engaging learning programmes. The theme of Circular Health invites us to reflect on the interconnection between people, the environment and animals, offering students useful tools for understanding the challenges of the present and the future. Special thanks go to Ilaria Capua and the Geopop team, whose expertise made a fundamental contribution to the quality of the content and to the project’s ability to engage students, teachers and families in an innovative and accessible way. We are proud to contribute to a project that values the active participation of schools, teachers and families, generating a positive and lasting impact on communities and the local area”.

Professor Ilaria Capua stated: “There is a need for more science at this point in history that we are experiencing, and there is a need to spread awareness starting precisely with the younger generations. My commitment stems from this fundamental observation. Current events, including the most recent ones, offer us many opportunities for reflection and, beyond the decisions that lie with major international bodies and, in any case, public policies, each of our actions or habits is not without consequence. Health and sustainability are inextricably linked. With this project, we intend to assert and explain this”.

Andrea Moccia, geologist, founder and director of Geopop, states: “We at Geopop are supporting Coop in this project, making our expertise in scientific communication available. Science is not boring: you simply have to find the right way to tell its story and turn it into a tangible experience. This is why we chose to use a terrarium, a small ecosystem that allows us to observe at close quarters and experience first-hand how precious, but also fragile, the world around us is. A fragility that current events remind us of every day”.
