Pernigotti presents its new line of products inspired by the Disney classics
- Information
Pernigotti has signed an agreement with The Walt Disney Company to create new products aimed at adults, inspired by some of the most beloved Disney animated films of all time.
For the autumn-winter season, the historic confectionery group from Novi Ligure (Alessandria) is preparing elegant tin boxes and colourful gift packages under the Pernigotti brand – containing assortments of pralines or small nougats – dedicated to classics such as Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, The Aristocats, 101 Dalmatians and Peter Pan.
The classics on the shelves
From October onwards, the new Pernigotti products with these five prestigious licences will arrive on shelves. In particular, gift boxes of 320 g containing Gianduiotti, Cremini and Mini Pepitas will be available, featuring The Aristocats and Alice in Wonderland. Also in preparation are 190 g metal tins containing Scrigni chocolates with a soft pistachio and tiramisu filling, dedicated to The 101 Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland, The Aristocats and Pinocchio.
The range is also expanded with 80 g fine milk chocolate medallions, embellished with graphic motifs from Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. In the run-up to Christmas, ballotin boxes of 130 g containing soft covered and citrus nougat pieces dedicated to Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan will also go on sale.
The comment
“With the Pernigotti project for Disney, we chose to pay tribute to the titles that have made animation film history, the ones that no one can forget,” said Stefania Distefano, Pernigotti’s commercial director for confectionery in Italy. “Five timeless stories, five characters who have made entire generations dream, reinterpreted with the distinctive character and unmistakable quality of Pernigotti chocolate, in a sensory journey for adults who have never stopped dreaming. The excellence of Pernigotti chocolate thus meets the elegance of Disney masterpieces. Confectionery art and auteur cinema, finally together.”
